Since you can purchase other iPods if you're main concern is the playing of MP3 music, then you probably bought the iTouch for the other features it offers that the nano, for instance, doesn't. One of the most interesting things, to me, that you can do with any iPod is play videos. Most people probably wouldn't have much use for the ability to play videos; but I'll take a movie, transpose it to MP4 format at 320 x 240 resolution and then chop it up into four sections.

Well, I go hiking out in the Arizona desert, and once I'm out there and the sun has gone down I'll lay out a thin REI air mattress and I'll put a pillow behind my head. I'll turn on the video and watch it as shooting stars flick by. That trips me out, to be able to be out in the wild, be nearly 30 miles away from any other people, yet be able to watch such things as Dr. Who movies out in the middle of nowhere. With an apple 16gb iPod touch v2, you'll also be able to do such things, and have fun in the particular way that you like having fun. America is an amazing place because we each can do exactly what we want to do, and we're free to do that. If you can't afford one of the 16GB versions, then consider a new apple iPod touch 8gb one. Eight gigabytes is still big enough to fit ten full movies plus a lot of MP3 music on one unit. When it comes to various different versions of iPods, you really need to study a reviews and product overviews to figure out which one might be perfect for your needs.
